Friday 19th Nov, Sharon had told us about a toddler’s day at @Bristol science museum, so we went along and met Sharon, Sophie and Alex there.
We started by going in for a show in the planetarium – outside the planetarium were cool light ropes…
We had an explore upstairs and Sophie and Fidget took part in a couple of experiments for students at Bristol University, which was all very interesting.
We had a pack-up for lunch – it was pretty packed, but we managed to get a seat…
Squidge enjoyed the archaeological dig…
It was good fun, but it was quite hard work looking after two mobile kiddi-winks. Squidge kept stomping off on her own mission, and then while I was chasing her, Fidget would have a wander in a different direction.
It was really nice to get out and Fidget really liked playing with Sophie, so we were really pleased we went.
By early afternoon, I was wacked! So headed home, where Naomi and Iestyn came over to say hello…
Fidget had such a great day seeing her friends…
On Sunday Uncle A came over for the day, we had the fire going and I think he enjoyed all the book reading he was asked to do…
We had a lovely Sunday lunch together and Uncle A got to open a few presents for his birthday. It was really nice to see him and the girls had a lovely day.
Tuesday was mummie’s afternoon at our house. Mush and the boys came over. Fidget and Ellis had a great time playing next door neighbours in some cardboard box houses…
Squidge doing her photo “cheese!!”
Leo’s photo “cheeese!” (captured a bit late)…
They stayed for tea with us and Fidget and Ellis set to in the kitchen making a pizza together…
Before and after below, they did initials in ham on each kid’s quarter, I think they did a smashing job…
then it was time to eat…
