After returning from Paris, we were straight back to work. At the weekend, Grandma, Grandad, Uncle A and Aunty B came down to stay, bringing more great presents for Fidget. We all enjoyed the musical instruments from Uncle A and Aunty B...
On Saturday, it was little S's birthday, Grandma, Fidget and I went across to join the party.

On Saturday 12th we were all really tired, but we had to get the washing done and repack, we noticed that the gooseberries were in dire need of picking, so loath to let our fruit go to waste, we went under the nets to harvest the crop. Fidget surprised us both, by picking out the fruits and eating them raw, despite how tart they are! Our next door neighbours brought round a present for Fidget, a super hoodie with big bright hearts on it.
Sunday 13th - FIDGET WAS 1 YEAR OLD!!!! We didn't have alot of time to celebrate, as we had to take an early train, but we opened a few cards and a few gifts... a lovely dress from the Mushes and some Mr Men books from next door on the other side.
The first part of the train journey, between Bristol and Swindon had been replaced by a bus, which Fidget did not enjoy as she couldnt run about. At Swindon we got on the train, which she enjoyed more, as she had more room to stretch out, and some toys to play with.
We then had to get the tube, which Fidget thought was great, as there were some young French students to say bonjour to, but everytime the doors opened she wanted to run out the doors!
We were quite early at St Pancras station, so sat around upstairs and Fidget had a march about.

We then went through to the Eurostar terminal and Fidget had great fun exploring all the floor air vents.
By the time we got onto the Eurostar, she was zonked out.

We arrived at our company meeting in Paris, and after a bit of mingling, Fidget went up to bed. We had to take it in turns to stay with her and eat her dinner. Knowing that it was her birthday, Camco had got her a huge chocolate cake, I took a peice back up to M in our room (which had a veiw of the Eiffel tower!).

Thursday 10th was Fidget's unnoffical birthday party, so we could celebrate with all M's family. Fidget and I were up early in the morning, but we were delighted to be joined by Granny with lots of presents... a singing pot and pan set, a dolly, books, paints & crayons, animal print dungarees, a sleeping bag and a beautiful velvet coat!
In the morning, Fidget got another bump to her head, so her beautiful dress was accesorised with lots of shades of blue, pink and yellow. We put out lots of food, Fidget was mainly interested in the grapes and parked herself by the bowl of them, and carried on chomping until they were removed from sight and reach.
