Took Fidget to the doctors today, she has a temperature, sticky eyes, a terrible cough (still not gone away) and her exma has flared up!

Inspired by her low mood and the weather today, she created her second work....

"the hailstorm"

on returning from the doctors, she had more calpol, stuff for her eyes and skin applied, cooled down and enjoyed a pettit felous, some buttery toast and fruit juice.

This put things into perspective for Fidget and before bedtime she had a go at another piece...

"a landscape"

On Sunday TeamChallis headed off early in the morning to give Aunty M a hand with her house. We were all put to work...

Fidget did sterling work carrying around the box tape incase it was required and inspecting the paint tins...

we had a nice day and made great progress

and even had some birthday cake for grandpa

but Fidget was a bit poorly and worn out by her efforts, so enjoyed some quiet cuddles with Granny...

What is priceless, beautiful but oh so fleeting?....

Fidget is 41 weeks old today...

Mummies Friday again, we had fun trying to stand (Fidget that is)....

and then fun with walking...

Great weekend just gone, with a good start made in the garden. Grandma and Grandad came down to visit along with Uncle A.

Even though it was pretty wet and horrible on Saturday, they gamely headed out into the garden to help us prepare for putting in two decks. They cleared weeds, put down weed control membrane and dug foundation holes and filled them with concrete.

Fidget was very impressed.
So we were really pleased to have made such a good start and spent the rest of the weekend having fun and eating nice food.

Fidget is 40 weeks old today....

Friday this week is Mummy's day, so I got to take lots and lots of photos of Fidget! We have had some fun this morning reading her new books, and we will then top the morning off with a visit to B&Q!!! Not sure I am going to have as an efficient day as Daddy normally has but we will try.

Met the new neighbours this week. The lovely neighbours who put up with so much during the building work have now moved and we are sad to see them go. But the new family that have moved in, have 2 little girls, one just a wee baby and a 2year old. Maybe some good friends for Fidget in the future.

Fidget is really looking forward to this weekend, when Grandma, Grandad and Uncle A come to visit. It's been ages since she saw them last and has so many new skills to show them. We will be putting them to hard work in the garden! So it will be a fun fun fun weekend for all.

Mummies afternoon at TeamChallis headquarters today, the babies had a lovely time, listening to Mush read a story or playing with the mummies and other babies,

it did however get a bit too much for Fidget in the end!!
