and one in yellow (for Mark). I had actually spent all year knitting M’s tie (the one in red is for my bro), I knitted M’s in secret which meant taking it with me to do on train journeys and sneaking in an hour when M went swimming each week. So anyway I better try to catch up on what has happened…
22nd October
was a weekend, we had a visit from Great Aunty and Uncle S & K which the girls really enjoyed. Squidge did some of her puzzles that she is getting really good at…
24th October
Daddy day – M got a picture of Squidge laying out all her duplo people. They are face down because they are all going to sleep – night night!!
25th October
Mummy day and we carved some pumpkins ready for Halloween…
Becky came over and tried on an old cashmere coat that we decided was too big for her, it was also slightly big for the cheekers too, just slightly…
28th October
Granny and Grandpa came over, Grandpa was helping with getting the ensuite moved on – thanks Grandpa…
29th October
On the Sunday me the girls and Granny went across to some lovely gardens who were having a Halloween trail. The gardens were lovely but it was surprisingly quiet. The girls had chosen their outfits, Fidget was an angel and Squidge picked her favourite (and very warm) Chinese suit with mickey mouse jockey hat…

The girls really enjoyed running around, but they were a bit scared of the witch and skeletons in the tunnels. Fortunately Granny had given the girls glowsticks which helped them be very brave. We headed in to the cafe for a nice lunch just before the rain came down.
30th October
Granny had brought Fidget some schoolie clothes for her bear, he looks ready to go…
