37 & 38 weeks- I think! - all a bit muddled!

This blog is now really late as after the storage issue I had problems with the size and file type of videos from the new camera but finally here it is. As I push the post button I realise that Squidge has already come on so much in the few weeks since, but hopefully I can catch up soon!...
----------------------------------------------------------

I think my dates of the last blog were getting a bit fuddled as this picture below is from two Mondays ago. But never mind!

So two Mondays ago, when Squidge went down for her afternoon nap, me and Fidget had a go at updating our seasonal table. A while ago after reading a book that M calls "How to be an alpha mum", but I would say provides lots of ideas for creative stuff with the kids, I put together a seasonal table. It's just a bit of space with a stick tree where we can represent what is going on in the garden and such. Our tree had blossom on it, but we needed to take the blossom off and make some growing fruits. Fidget was really good at making hanging fruits and also suggested we thread some of the beads directly on the branches which I thought was very creative.

Not sure why we have chicken, potatoes and bread on the table - Fidget's addition.

Monday evening M was back early from work offsite, so we wandered over to the park for an ice cream...

and some fun in the swings...

So two Tuesday's ago (not including tomorrow?!) Squidge was 37 weeks old...

Fidget now...
them both...
That afternoon was mummy's afternoon at our house, but for a variety of very understandable reasons (including being in labour!) most of the mummies couldn't make it, but it was lovely to see Naomi and Iestyn as Naomi was off work with a broken foot.

Squidge - weekend before last, I'm loosing the plot of what was going on, when!
out in the garden picking some redcurrants...

Squidge is on the move for sure now, this was on last Sunday, where she was still getting across the room mainly by slow lunges, shuffles and rolls. She was raring ahead in climbing up on anything she managed to get to.

Fidget's chairs are a favourite though they are not that stable for her, the "kiddie kitchen" table is much easier for her to pull herself up on and she loves standing there and playing with the stove...

Tuesday last week, Squidge was 38 weeks old...
here she is enjoying some veggy finger food, she enjoyed the peas most, i have to say that most of the broccoli was jettisoned off the side of the table.

On Thursday, Squidge and I headed out for our jolly babies class, but being a bit early we stopped on the high street at Port Petite cafe to enjoy a cool drink and share a toasted tea cake...

On Friday I noticed that Squidge's moving had become alot more crawl like, still with one leg tucked under frog style, but definitely a focused crawl effort. So I set up a little trap to get some video. I took out the lego box which she had not yet got to play with and put it down across the room...
