36 weeks, new goodies and twins visit

Running a week behind!

Last Tuesday, Squidge was 36 weeks old...

This is actually Fidget at 36 weeks old I realised when looking back at the blog, not 35 weeks, but hey you get the idea...

Them both now...

On the Monday before, I had been out with the girls and got my phone upgraded. It is a super eco phone, with an unbelievable 5megapixel camera (the same as our big old camera!), so the next two were taken on my new phone...

Monday evening M returned with his birthday present that had just arrived at work - a new diddy camera, amazing how technology has moved on as it is 12megapixels with some whopping zoom on it, but not having a memory card and needing to charge it we couldn't use it yet.
Tuesday evening M arrived back with more goodies - a memory card and my new bag (delivered to work), which I bought on ebay. I loooove it! It is an Orla Keily perforated leather bucket bag, fab! It is a perfect shape and fits everything in, with a long adjustable strap and beautifully made.
So able to try out the new camera - I took a picture of the birthday boy...
Squidge is now able to drink from her cup herself...

TeamChallis all pile on!
On Sunday we went across to see Aunty M, Uncle A and the twins. Granny and Grandpa were there too. It was a lovely day, Uncle A did a smashing BBQ. It was a great chance to try out what the new camera could do, prepare yourself for alot of pictures....

Fidget found a secret passageway through the flower bed...
After finding the secret passageway this little explorer soon found the crisps on the table - treasure!

Time for a bit of a mini-person tete-a-tete...

After lunch it was time to chill out under the pear tree...

Squidge took a turn about with Granny - she is really loving her walking now...

little J chilling with Daddy...

I'm a bit lost as to where I am now, as these next pictures are from Thursday previous to the twins weekend - I can't be doing with rearanging them now. We ended up not going to our classes as Honour was a bit below par, so we had a walk along the highstreet then back to the
park, Squidge fell asleep and I got to chill on a park bench...
In timelord fashion jumping forward to the Wednesday after the Thursday above (or last Wednesday if you please), Squidge and I had to take the car in for MOT. Across the road from the ford garage was a small retail park, the delights on offer being a Staples, a Halfords a closed Currys and a KFC. The delights of Staples being exhausted in all of 5 minutes we repaired to the
KFC, where Squidge had a jar of some mushy thing or other and I bought and ate a mushy thing in a wrap, yum?!?
We then went back over to wait at the garage...
On Friday we went for Fidget's first swimming lesson, she is in a pre-school class which means she is supposed to go in the pool without me. Fidget was well up for it, until we got poolside, she then changed her mind. Caroline the teacher suggested she just take Fidget and get in the water with her, which is what she normally does, so OK I said - bad idea! Fidget screamed the place down. Squidge and I spent the lesson standing at the side of the pool, next to Fidget who wouldn't get in. Squidge was really keen to get in despite being fully dressed. Oh well try again next week.
So on Saturday we had planned to go to the aquarium as a birthday treat day out for M, but decided to get back in the pool. Fidget kept asking if Caroline would be there, oh dear. We were really pleased and surprised and pleased to see Naomi and Iestyn in the pool, so Fidget wasn't worried about getting in then. Fidget and I practiced what would happen at the lesson next week pretending I was Caroline. Who knows if she will get in.
When we got home we had a walk across to the park to get icecreams. Yum.
