Got really behind in blogging again. Going back 3 Fridays now to 21st May, where me, Squidge and Fidget met up with Naomi and Iestyn on the cycle path and walked around to Sainsburys. It was a great walk, the kids peddled happily alongside each other on their trikes, stopping to pick dandelion clocks. It was really hot - the start of the really warm weather, and me and Fidget were a little overdressed in our leggings. Fidget didn't seem to mind, but I did feel like I was walking in a duvet!

We had lunch at Sainsburys (and I was particularly appreciative of the iced slushy drink), then we took the bus home which the kids loved. They were very well behaved, even resisting the temptation of ringing the bell until our stop by the park.

Squidge on the bus...

On Saturday we went across to Leo's 1st birthday party which was really enjoyable.
On Sunday, Aunty M and Uncle A came across with C&J. We hadn't anticipated the hot weather so the planned meal of roast beef and crumble was perhaps a little heavy, but everyone gamely tucked in including Fidget and Squidge.
It was really warm and little C & J were feeling the pace...

we had the shade sail up, so Squidge and Fidget chilled out on the deck...

M had a walk around with J in the house to help cool him down, they seemed to be having a good time...
Fidget kept cool with some water play...
A bit later on we got out the paddling pool so me and Squidge could join in the water play...
On Monday we went out to the supermarket, where among other groceries I picked up some hair bobbles for Fidget so she could have proper bunches...
On Tuesday Squidge was 33 weeks old. She really loves zooming about in the walker, so we went out on the deck to take some pictures ...
Fidget braved the deck (dodging Squidge) to show off her new dress and bunches...

Fidget requested I take a picture of Bear - looking out the window...

Squidge is really coming on well, she is a really smiley baby, I always get comments about her lovely smile and bright blue eyes when we are out and about.
She is still a fantastic eater, she will eat anything offered to her - no fussiness at all, and she has a big appetite. I feed her first thing, then she will have a bowl of porridge for breakfast, I then feed her again and she will usually have a morning nap. She may then have a snack of fruit or ricecakes. For lunch she has a bowl of some meaty thing or other (beef and veg, fish pie or the like) followed by a yogurt. After that she has a cup of formula - which she may or may not drink much of, but it has been good - she is napping better for not falling asleep at the boob, and she is getting used to drinking from a cup. For tea she has a veggy thing (lentils, cheesy pasta or maybe toast, cheese and other finger food) followed by fruit. Then before bed she has a huge double feed and then goes off to sleep for the night. She is pretty reliably sleeping through now (with the odd exception), from when I feed her at 6:30 through until between 5 and 6 am.
She rocks forward alot when sitting into a froglike position, from which she can grab things from quite a distance away, she shuffles and rolls around, but no sign of crawling. She is getting very interested in cruising and walking and is pulling herself up on things.
She is growing big and tall, she is in 12-18 month in most clothes.
Fidget at 33 weeks...

The Wednesday was my birthday which was pretty quiet, but me and Squidge went swimming and then she tolerated me wandering around the shops. Thanks for all the lovely presents everyone.
At the weekend we went down to Dorset. On the Sunday Granny and I went shopping for most of the day which was brill! M and Grandpa looked after the girls which was super particularly as I don't need to give Squidge a daytime feed. Granny and I came back laden with bags of clothes and some of it was for me, not all just for Fidget and Squidge!
Before bed, there was time for some swimming. I think I put Fidget's cossie on the wrong way round, but nevermind.

Fidget was doing really well with her swimming and confidence in the water...

Squidge had great fun splashing about with Granny...

That evening after the girls were to bed, M and I went out to a nearby Indian resteraunt, we had a lovely evening - thanks to Granny and Grandpa for babysitting!
The next day was bank holiday Monday. Fidget and I had a walk in the garden, where she sported one of her new outfits from Granny...
She had enjoyed her walk out with Daddy and Grandpa the previous day so much that she asked me to take a picture of her with the pram!
We had a good wander around...

checking out the flowers and wildlife...

Then Fidget suggested we have a picture together...
Squidge was playing in the poolroom - sporting a new outfit too...
Squidge's 34 week birthday was the following day but I didn't get any pics, so these will have to do.

Fidget at 34 weeks
and now...
On Friday 4th Mush had invited us across for a coffee morning to be followed by a visit to the library and lunch together. At the last minute I realised M had taken Fidget's car seat with him to work, so we had to change plans quick and get the bus, but fortunately we were only half an hour late.
The kids had a run about at the coffee morning, then we went and picked some new books at the library, Fidget and Ellis were really good - sitting and reading together.

Squidge had a roll around...
(thanks to Mush for the pictures)
Fidget and Ellis walked really nicely together round to the restaraunt...
We were all glad to get inside out of the hot sun and get with the eating...

thanks to Mush for a lovely morning and also for the pictures.
