I have been trying to post stuff covering the period from about Friday 2nd July up to Saturday 24th, but due to technical difficulties I am having to break it into small chunks. This first is the weekend 2nd, 3rd and 4th July.
So back to the 2nd, the details are getting a bit hazy so I haven’t much explanation for the first pictures except to say that we found M’s “Flash Gordon” fancy dress wig when getting dressed in the morning and both the girls tried it on…
From Saturday 3rd I am starting to get a grip on what has been going on (with the help of looking back at the calendar).
Squidge’s started crawling properly (on her knees), I managed to get a quick vid of it (please excuse the snotty nose!).
I had arranged to have my hair cut at Toni & Guy in Bristol so we decided to make it a day out in Bristol. I went in to have my haircut and M looked after the girls. It was a hot day so he found the perfect spot to entertain them…by the big mirror ball near @Bristol, in the water fountains.
In the picture of M above you can see Fidget disappearing off to his right.
We then went to get the girls tea at a Pizza Express nearby. Fidget was wearing a dress I had got for her from ebay, which she got loads of comments for, but she wouldn’t keep still to have her picture taken!…
I was really pleased with my new hairdo, it feels alot fresher and in better condition…
Fidget was pooped out by the time we got back, so got a few cute pics of her snoozing on the sofa…
I got a late pass for the evening and got to go out to a BBQ at our work, which was great, I even got to drive the General! – Thanks M x
On Sunday afternoon me and the girls headed out for a soft play party for Toby and Iestyn’s birthday.
It was very hot in the room, but Fidget had a fab time running up and down…
I tried to take some pictures of Iestyn and Toby but they were just moving toooo fast! I honestly only have pictures of blurry splodges that could be children – could be anything!
The few other pictures I did get…
Fidget was also very excited that both she and Squidge got an ace present – a shaker for Squidge and a fab jigsaw for Fidget – thanks!
When we got back we found Uncle A and a big van, he had come for a flying visit to bring down his larger possessions in advance of moving down to Bristol in September. He and M had unloaded most of his stuff into the garage. He had a bite to eat with us then had to drive back up to Liverpool – looking forward to seeing him soon though!
