Friday 24th getting ready in the morning the girls were having a great time playing with the prams
While taking more pram video, Fidget wandered off and started chattering away, it is very typical of her normal chatter around the house that I thought I would include it...
On Saturday, Grandpa was at the house, hanging around on the scaffolding with M – adding a waterproofing spray to the render and adding leaf guards to the gutters. On Sunday Grandpa went to his flying thing and Granny joined us for the day.
Granny had bought a book for Squidge where the children in the house are looking for their dog to take him for walkies.
Squidge loved it and kept doing the sign for “where?” very clearly which I didn’t get a picture of, but here is an image of the sign from the web…
Squidge is quite a clear communicator now, she shakes her head vigorously for “no”, she is often saying “dat” for “that”, her signing for milk is very clear and she is often repeating words we have said in similar sounds though I would not say we have definitively had the first clear word.
Monday 27th was M’s 1st Daddy day. I am not back to work yet, but M is back to 4 days a few weeks early so that I can ease myself in with a few “keep in touch” days. So I got myself smartened up and headed off to London for a few meetings…
Uncle A needed a photo taking for some Uni stuff…
Fidget in her matching t-shirt lining up for her photo-call…
and then getting down to some work together…
Squidge was 51 weeks old on Tuesday…
Fidget at 51 weeks
Fidget now and them both together…
Fidget gets “telly-time” after “tidy-up” time in the late afternoon, Squidge likes to take a sneaky look-in…
In anticipation of Squidge’s up-coming birthday we had ordered a few presents that I wrapped on Thursday, so on Friday we had a quite large box (that the presents had arrived in) and an empty cardboard roll from using all the wrapping paper.
Fidget suggested we could make a car, so she and I set to work and created a car with a steering wheel and gearstick…
