Friday last week we had Naomi and Iestyn visit us in the morning which was really nice, Fidget was on much better form this week so really enjoyed playing with Iestyn. At one point they were both singing "Old Macdonald" together, which was so cute but I wasn't quick enough to get any video of it. Squidge has been enjoying sitting up and playing alot more, so after lunch she was sat in the beanbag with a few toys...
she was then joined by Fidget who decided to tickle her head with a beaded butterfly...
she didn't seam to mind too much, she usually enjoys playing with Fidget a great deal.

On Saturday Squidge had her first lunch. It was parsnip, she thought it was ok, not brilliant but ok.
The weaning has been going ok (not brilliant) but ok. Squidge spits out most of the food, but also insists on holding the spoon herself so the rest of the food is tipped down her front! She has been having banana for lunch the last two days which she enthusiastically slurps off the spoon, so it's looking up.

On Sunday we had a visit from Granny and Grandpa who have been staying over with Aunty M and the twins. The girls had great fun all day playing. I managed to get out into the garden to start a few seeds off in the greenhouse (tomato and pepper).
Squidge was 24 weeks old on Tuesday...

Fidget at 24 weeks...

them both now (playing very nicely)...

bouncing about on the bed together...

later in the morning we went out into the garden to water the seeds and have a potter about...
Fidget was running about on the deck, I feel like I haven't taken many pictures of her recently so started snapping...

she quite quickly got fed up and started insisting "that's enough mummy!", preferring me to join her in a walk around.
I caught up with her on the deck where she was amenable to a few more pictures...

but only a few... "that's ENOUGH Mummy!!"

Squidge can now sit up quite well, she still wobbles over when spotting something of interest away to the side.

Today Squide rolled over from her back to her front, she was trying to reach a toy behind her head. She was really unimpressed when she found herself on her front. Hopefully I will be able to get some video soon.
