Went up to Hull for Grandma’s birthday weekend. With Fidget being at school we couldn’t just up and take a long weekend so it meant driving up on Friday night. The girls watched the Sound of Music as we drove up. After it had finished (about 9pm) the girls were really tired, we still had an hour of driving to do, but they wouldn’t sleep and Fidget was wig-ing out pretty dramatically. By the time we got to Grandma’s they were so pleased to see their bed they were straight to sleep.
On the Saturday, the girls had a great time playing, particularly with Grandma’s doilies
nice hats ladies…
then out to the garden for a visit to the treehouse…

1st March
Fidget’s school was celebrating world book day. When Fidget and I were discussing who she would go dressed as I mentioned Sophie from the Tiger who came to tea. Fidget wasn’t bothered, but Squidge loves that book and shouted out that she wanted to be Sophie. I think she makes a super Sophie…
Fidget chose Alice in Wonderland as her favourite book, she was initially swayed by the thought of being Tinkerbell, but after reading the book again and talking through her costume she went with Alice.
