Sunday 24th July, we hung the princess bed – Fidget was very pleased with it, as was Squidge….
Friday 29th was Daddy Day and a busy one it was. M had several errands to run for me, then tidied the house, did the washing, picked veg from the garden (setting the girls to work on cleaning the veg of course)…
then prepared a marvellous lunch – phew – well done M!
It was also a busy day for visitors. Our old friends from university (and frisbee) were in town with their beautiful new daughter Annabelle. They are living out in California these days, so it was great for M and the kids to see them. I only got to see photos, but I must say guys – you are looking great!!
Shortly followed by M’s cousin Grainne and her family. Grainne and the guys wont be making it to the big family bash in Ireland this year and Fidget had been really sad that she wouldn’t see Cara (who is perhaps her most favouritest cousin), so she was thrilled to spend the afternoon with Cara and little Riley.
especially when it involved having stories read to her…
I got to catch up with them briefly when I got home from work.
