Been a bit busy and the result has been quite a gap in posts. We've spent our time looking for (and buying) a new car and visiting Aunty and Uncle M and A's lovely new house. We don't have our new car yet as it is proper new, but I am very excited, particularly as it is orange!

Last weekend was one of our few that has not been booked up during July and August, Saturday was a washout, we just hung about the place and did some tidying around. Sunday was much nicer, the weather has been poor and we haven't been out in the garden much since Fidget's birthday, but on Sunday we did manage to get out and do some tidying around the garden.

We tried to put Fidget's new swing up which is really lovely and is from Grandma and Grandad for her birthday. This was the first non rainy opportunity we had to hang it but unfortunately we didnt have all the bits we needed and so it was hung too high, so while Fidget got to try it out, it is only today (7th Aug) that is has gone up and it is super, though it will be a delay before I can get more pictures up.

In the late afternoon we decided to take a rest on the far deck, the light was lovely coming through the leaves on the apple tree. I decided to take some pictures of Fidget as I hadn't really had a "2 year old" photo session and it was a lovely backdrop, light and of course a captivating subject. I took rather alot and have picked my favourites to load - which still amounts to rather alot. (The number is also one of the reasons it has taken me so long to get this post finished).

Fidget and M had a go at picking some of the last fruit before removing the nets and leaving the rest for the birds.

Then we got a rug and yellow bear and went back to the deck to relax, it was such a lovely afternoon, so tranquil and just lovely all to be together and relax.

She's so pretty!

Fidget had a good investigate around the wild area...

She thought feeding bark to yellow bear was very funny...

It really was a lovely afternoon.
