Fidget has chicken pox, I have taken the day off work and we are home. So taking the chance to catch up on blogging, while she has a nap.

On Saturday, Granny and Grandpa came down, Grandpa and M worked on the understairs loo, it was a lovely day so Granny and Fidget were outside alot, playing with bubbles...

and walking around out front...

I got a lovely card from Fidget on Mother's day that she had made at nursery, it had a daffodil on it with yellow and green paper stuck on it, thanks Fidget!!

So this morning when Fidget woke up we noticed spots on her face and body that were clearly chicken pox, she hasn't really noticed them yet and is pretty chipper, but we can't go to nursery and are stuck in the house.

I tried to take some pictures of the spots, but she was grooving around quite a bit eating her "man" (gingerbread man). There are a few on the side of her face, several in her hair and odd places like behind the ears, but most are on her back and around her nappy.

I got the box of buttons down and some pipecleaners and Fidget was quickly engrossed in threading them...
