Grandma and Granddad Christmas

After the disappointment of not seeing Grandma and Granddad over Christmas, we were really pleased when on they came down for a visit.

7th Jan – time for more presents!

Grandma and Granddad got Fidget a smashing proper camera. She really loves it. It also has some cool games including one where you can take a picture of someone’s face and then put it on a dancing body – cooool.

Squidge got a fab ladybird ride-on…

Uncle A came over and did his fair-share of reading duties, (alot of reading is to be done in this house – both girls love their books).

Granddad wasn’t feeling so good, so Fidget got out her doctors kit and set to work with her able nursing assistant…

8th Jan. We had a parcel to pick up, so decided to have a walk along the cycle path, pick up the parcel then have lunch out.

Squidge was enjoying her peas – dipping each individual one into the tomato sauce…

Sunday we all had a nice lunch together.

Monday morning was spent playing in the backroom, before saying goodbye to Grandma and Granddad.

The girls were dressed up in their finest, in preparation for a disco that afternoon.

Fidget tried out a variety of outfit options…

In the late afternoon we headed off to Isabel’s birthday disco. It was Fidget and Squidge’s first disco. Isabel started school end of last year, so this was an afterschool disco which was very exciting.

It was actually very good, the DJ was very good and each song had a dance or game along with it.
