On Saturday 12th we were all really tired, but we had to get the washing done and repack, we noticed that the gooseberries were in dire need of picking, so loath to let our fruit go to waste, we went under the nets to harvest the crop. Fidget surprised us both, by picking out the fruits and eating them raw, despite how tart they are! Our next door neighbours brought round a present for Fidget, a super hoodie with big bright hearts on it.

Sunday 13th - FIDGET WAS 1 YEAR OLD!!!! We didn't have alot of time to celebrate, as we had to take an early train, but we opened a few cards and a few gifts... a lovely dress from the Mushes and some Mr Men books from next door on the other side.

The first part of the train journey, between Bristol and Swindon had been replaced by a bus, which Fidget did not enjoy as she couldnt run about. At Swindon we got on the train, which she enjoyed more, as she had more room to stretch out, and some toys to play with.

We then had to get the tube, which Fidget thought was great, as there were some young French students to say bonjour to, but everytime the doors opened she wanted to run out the doors!
We were quite early at St Pancras station, so sat around upstairs and Fidget had a march about.

We then went through to the Eurostar terminal and Fidget had great fun exploring all the floor air vents.
By the time we got onto the Eurostar, she was zonked out.

We arrived at our company meeting in Paris, and after a bit of mingling, Fidget went up to bed. We had to take it in turns to stay with her and eat her dinner. Knowing that it was her birthday, Camco had got her a huge chocolate cake, I took a peice back up to M in our room (which had a veiw of the Eiffel tower!).
