Granny and Grandpa are here this weekend, Grandpa is helping M insulate the garage ceiling so that Fidget can move finally into her own room!

Granny looked after Fidget, so that I could get some work done in the veggy patch... potatoes are in, along with garlic and the rubharb I grew from seed last year. I also sowed some carrots, beetroot, parsnip and radish. It was a lovely bright, crisp day, a great day to be out and getting back in control of the veg' garden. The seeds planted in the greenhouse are coming on well...tomato, chillie, cosmos, alyssum, cabbage, brussle sprouts, cucumer and aubergine. It is great to see them coming on.

Speaking of which, when I returned inside, Fidget started demonstrating a new skill...

she is now managing to pull herself along on the hard floor, by her hands! She hasn't quite figured out just how far she can get with this tecnique, but it wont be long!
